7 Months Old!

Miss Riley Kate is 7 months old today! I can't even believe it, she's growing so fast.



Things for this month:

• She learned to sit. She now plays with her blocks on the floor all by herself; she still tips over from time to time, but that's fewer and far between.



• She rolled. (Twice). This kid just doesn't like rolling. Oh well.



• She got her first tooth. It was no fun the few days leading up to it, but now it's there. Hard to see, but it will keep on growing, I'm sure.



• She's learning to give kisses. Sloppy, but she's getting the idea.



• She's sitting in high chairs at restaurants and shopping carts at stores. She tires out easily, but she can do it.



• She's moved on to Stage 2 foods (chicken, rice, etc.), so now I'll have to add those to my baby food making plans.



• She's learning to use a sippy cup. I gave it to her once, and she knew exactly what to do with it.



• She likes to imitate Daddy by blowing raspberries right after he does.



• She loves to watch the animals when she's in her exersaucer and jumperoo.

I am so thankful every day for this little ray of sunshine in our lives. She is truly a blessing.
