We took Riley Kate to the pediatrician today to get her ears checked. No real suspicions that she actually had an infection, but since we're trying to fit in all of her flu shots and vaccines starting October 21, we wanted to be safe. She had just gotten over a cold, which in the past has led to infections.
And, being safe paid off. Double ear infection again. So now we're on to tubes. It stinks in a way, but it will improve her quality of life and reduce the number of doctor visits and antibiotics over the winter, so it will be worth it in the end.
