Fun facts about the RK:
- She loves to dance. There doesn't even need to be music and she'll start dancing. If she were an adult, it would be kind of weird. But she's not, so it's cute.
- She's decided she's too cool to hold Mommy's hand when we're walking into her school. She walks next to me, swinging her arms and checking everything out on the way to her classroom.
- She can run. This started right after she got her ear tubes. Apparently her ears were impacting her balance. No more!
- She can climb down off the couch all on her own. Can't quite get up on the couch on her own yet, but it won't be long, I'm sure.
- Anytime you mention the word snack, she plops down on the ground wherever she is and looks at you expecting her snack. I'm guessing it's something they do at school, but it's hilarious everytime.
- She loves to high-five. Anytime, anywhere, you can get a high five.
- She knows how to pet the cats and dog 'nice'. So anytime she's not being nice to Mommy or Daddy, we say 'be nice' and she pets our heads.
- She can kick a ball between her feet like she's playing soccer.
- Apparently she's still in a love triangle at school that has existed since the baby room. Matthew loves her, and Ava loves Matthew. Riley just pushes Matthew around and steals his snacks. That's my girl. :)
- She eats out of a bowl instead of her placemat; thanks to a suction cup on the bottom, no messes!
- Her favorite picture to look at during her bedtime routine is a picture of Grandpa John and Grandpa Jack at our wedding.
She had her 15 month well check this past week. She lost 2 lbs since her last appointment, putting her at 20lbs 12oz. The doctor said not to worry about it, she's still just below the 25th percentile. She's 30 inches tall, which is just above the 25th percentile, and her head continues to be a wonderful 90th percentile noggin. Her completely uncontrollable Don King hair doesn't help make the head look any smaller!
Here's a pic of her on her scooter that she now knows how to scoot!
