Sex and the City

So I think I might be the only woman in America not excited about the show or the movie. I wasn't a devoted fan of the show when it was on, but I opted to go see the movie out of curiosity.

What I was greeted with was a bunch of crazy girls dressed in cocktail dresses and silver heels, channeling Carrie Bradshaw. Then, as the previews ended and the movie began a cheer rose up through the theater, as though the cast themselves were standing there.

The movie was okay, but not great in my opinion. I found it somewhat predictable, and the ending was just a little too 'perfect'. But apparently, the Carrie crowd loved it, because when the movie ended, another cheer rose up through the theater.

While it wasn't the worst movie I've seen (that title can be debated, but the worst movie I've seen in a long time was outlined in my April Boston post, I believe, courtesy of Kristin's NetFlix), I clearly have not taken a drink from the Sex and the City kool-aid.
