Don't get me wrong, I am so excited to finally be updating some of the hideous early '90s items in our home. However, the first project we embarked upon was getting the tile floors redone in our kitchen and family room. Being displaced from your kitchen and having to lock up 3 animals upstairs so they won't get injured or mess up the work area for four days is painful to say the least. We're all going a little stir crazy; well, not Oscar. He gets the distinct pleasure of attending his doggie day care every day until they're done. (Please note, this is mostly for my sanity, not his. Working from home all day with all 3 animals upstairs with me would not be a pleasant experience for any of us.)
I'll post pictures once the work is done this week. Still on the agenda before Friday: painting and new fixtures in the half bath. Oh, and an FYI; if you think that picking out plumbing fixtures is simple, think again. Jeff and I almost lost our minds picking out the items for the half bath. I couldn't even muster the strength to start thinking about the master bath.
