No surprise to most, but Jeff and I both went to Miami University (in Ohio, not Florida). Well, when two alumni from Miami get married, it's called a "Miami Merger". Part of the distinct honor of being a merger is getting an annual Valentine from Miami. This year's Valentine has a sickeningly sweet poem on it and a little notepad with hearts that says "Miami Merger".
Aww, so cute and mushy. I'm sure that notepad will get some great romantic mileage with things like 'clean up dog poop' and 'buy cat litter' written on it.
And remember, Jeff's birthday is Valentine's Day (and in an odd coincidence, it also Mike's birthday, my friend Aimee's husband)! :)
