First, I woke up this morning to frost on my car windows! I don't know the last time I saw that in Austin. Naturally, I forgot protocol on frost, and decide to try to use some windshield washing fluid which then froze solid to my windshield. Not having an ice scraper handy, I just had to wait for the defrost to kick in. Boo.
Second, we finally started the remodeling on our house. Yesterday they came in and removed all of the old tile, which means our house is a dusty mess, and we have to contain all the animals upstairs. It will all be worth it when by the end of next week we'll have new floors downstairs, a new half bath and freshly painted walls! We start on the rest of the remodel in a couple of weeks after Jeff's parents' visit. That will be contained to the master bath, which is much easier to work around.
Finally, went to see 27 Dresses last night with my friends Christa and Joy. Very cute movie, not nearly as cheesy as expected, so I recommend it for a girl's night out. Katherine Heigl is adorable as always, and James Marsden was a perfect lead opposite her.
