CNN,
I started watching you because you were the one in the 'middle' (more or less, you weren't totally 'middle'). Fox News makes my teeth itch, and MSNBC borders on too crunchy. So there we were, soulmates.
But now, you've turned into a facebook and Twitter obsessed carnie side show. The holograms, the bouncy maps (do we really need a map to talk about everything?!), John King. Can't stand John King (he has nothing to do with the social media and maps other than he irritates the crap out of me with the map).
I still love me my AC360, but even he disappointed me last night. I get that Michael Jackson was a whole carnie side show in his own right, but what about all the people in Iran fighting for their freedom and being abused for it? What about hypocritical skeezy governors who fly off to other countries without letting anyone know? And, here's a thought. The economy? These are real news items, not whether or not someone has a crust of a sandwich that Michael Jackson once ate.
Please, I beg of you, bring some real news back. And for someone that checks people.com daily, this is a huge request. I blame my husband, but yes, I do ocassionally like to hear the news. REAL NEWS.
And lay off the holograms, ok? This isn't Star Trek.
