Highlights for the past month:
- She will now use her little push toy all on her own. Only issue: she can't turn it, so we have to turn it for her. Cute, but tiring for us too. :)
- We went to the pool for the first time. The kid LOVED it. She was unsure for all of about 3 seconds, then she was babbling away and even figured out how to kick.
- She got her first pair of 'real' shoes. She had little flimsy slippers, but since they're working with her on walking at school, she needed some with some support. So she got some stylish new big girl kicks.
- She's getting two more teeth on the top. And the lovely part of that is that she has now learned how to grind her teeth together. Bad mommy that I am, I pop a paci in her mouth when I hear the grinding. I can't stand the noise, plus those teeth need to last her a few years!
- She's saying dada regularly and is figuring out who that dada dude is. A random ma here or there, but nothing consistent. Someday I'll remind her of that and the c-section scar and resulting muffin top I'm sporting. Then she'll feel bad.
- She is learning sign language at school and can tell us 'more' when she's eating. Usually the 'more' is associated with graham crackers, which she can't get enough of. She literally inhales the things.
I'm sure there's more, as every day is an adventure, but those are some highlights.
This month, you're treated to video instead of pics. She'll dazzle you with her walking skills and also some pool time chatter.
