So Riley got a cold on Tuesday. No biggie at first, then it got worse, by yesterday she was wheezing, and today we were at the doctor. We were supposed to be there for her 6 month check-up (about a week early), but once the doctor heard her breathing, she was being swabbed for RSV and the next thing we know we're holding a mask to our screaming daughter's face.
Luckily (or not so luckily since it means lots of screaming in the coming days), the nebulizer treatment worked and her breathing was much better, so we get to lather, rinse, repeat this process over the weekend. According to the doctor she will probably be one of those babies that wheezes whenever she gets a cold, so she advised us to go ahead and purchase our very own nebulizer.
I'd post a pic of it, but I don't want any of you to be jealous.
