I'm sitting here stuck in the Dallas airport. My travels haven't gone so smoothly today. Got to the Jacksonville airport, flight was delayed one hour. The gate agents were either (a) not very bright or (b) nasty and mean. FINALLY got to Dallas, but my connection had already left. Got off the plane to encounter yet another nasty and mean gate agent. Got my useless standby voucher, came to the new gate, where I encountered Alton, my new best friend. He immediately got me a seat on the next flight. Now the only problem is that there is a severe storm moving through Austin, so I'm still delayed 2 hours. I need to get home, it's been a long week, and I want to sleep in my own bed.
Oh, and for those of you that don't already know it, AMERICAN AIRLINES SUCKS!!!! (This is a paid commercial endorsement from Continental Airlines and JetBlue, the only decent airlines in the country.)
