I was doing really well prior to our vacation. Tracking my points, working out, the whole shebang. Then, vacation happened. Luckily, I came back only 2 lbs up from when I left, and by some miracle, my smaller pants still fit. Now here we are one month back from vacation, and miraculously, I'm down to my pre-vacation weight without any effort at all.
I've decided that's my body's way of telling me not to give up on it. If I can lose 2 lbs without doing anything, imagine what can happen if I actually try?
I also saw a mom at daycare yesterday who has had 2 kids in a year. She's tall and rail thin, 6 months after the second one was born. While I've given up on ever being tall (I still hope that maybe one day I'll wake up to be 5'7"; should probably get myself checked out since I'm clearly delusional), I can be thin. Right?
Sigh, off to drink some water and not the Dr. Pepper I really want.
