I discovered a new website that has totally changed the way we eat during the week: www.relishrelish.com.
It's a great website. For $7/month, the website gives you weekly menu choices, and based on what you pick, creates your shopping list. You can have it create the recipes for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people, and they have quick options, low calorie, kid friendly, vegetarian, etc.
We were a little skeptical at first, but signed up for 3 months, because it was only $20. Well, we love it! We actually make an effort to eat new foods and since we're actually prepared with fun stuff, we've cut back on eating out and wasting food from the grocery store.
They have monthly freezer friendly foods, and you can add previous meals to your favorites so you can add them in any given week instead of one of the pre-selected options.
Another one that a friend of mine uses is www.e-mealz.com. Same concept overall, except that e-mealz actually gives you recommendations based on sale flyers that week and will let you do Weight Watchers meals, South Beach, etc. Since we don't shop at a traditional grocery store, that one didn't serve much purpose for us, so I stuck with Relish.
Completely recommend it. It makes life easier and will end up saving money in the long run!
