- Mmm-Bop. Yes, the Hansen song. And I kind of like that song. I'm not ashamed.
- We call our cat Guinness, Guinney-Bop. And we sing to her to the tune of Mmm-Bop. See last line above. That applies here too.
- Bop magazine was my favorite teen magazine back in the day. My walls were covered with Kirk Cameron, Sean Astin and Michael J. Fox (why the last one? I have no idea.)
- There's a little song that goes: "Little Bunny Fru Fru hopping through the forest, scooping up the field mice and BOPping them on the head." She's just working on that song one word at a time. At this rate, she'll be able to sing the whole thing by high school graduation. I'll be so proud.
- There's that super annoying game that people used to play with a stick that yelled at you to Bop it among other things.
- One of my favorite songs of all time is Poison's "Unskinny Bop". This song also reminds me of my friend Aimee and how she thought it was "Mmmmm Skinny Bop" until I set her straight.
- Cyndi Lauper also has a song "She Bop", and there is an oldies song entitled "Bee Bop A Lula".
- According to Google, BOP stands for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. So maybe she's foreshadowing her choice of boyfriends in the future?
So, as you can see from the above, her word bop could be construed as babble, but I beg to differ. My kid is ahead of her time.

Big girl Riley with the developing vocabulary!
You're questioning Michael J. Fox...I would have had Fred Savage in the mix - ha!
I just read this again. It may be my favorite blog post ever.
