The week before we left for Thanksgiving, Grandpa Jack and Grandma Julie came for a visit. Grandpa Jack had some business travel, but Grandma Julie got to stay in Austin and have some quality RK time.
On Saturday, we went to the Austin Zoo. Jeff and I are big fans of the zoo. It's not fancy, but it's fun for Riley and it's an easy trip to just let her run around. We opted to get the annual membership so we can stop by whenever we want. Here are a couple of pictures of Grandpa Jack and Riley at the zoo:
Unfortunately, Riley got pinkeye while they were here. Not so bad for Grandma Julie, since she got to hang with Riley when she was exiled from school. And a good sickness to have is pinkeye, since her mood was still in tact.

Since we're flying to Orlando for Christmas this year, Grandma Julie wanted to get the big Christmas shopping out of the way while they were visiting. Here is Riley's new tricycle, complete with handle so Mommy and Daddy won't hurt their backs helping her ride:
