Big things for this month:
- She's crawling and pulling up to stand on everything. But more importantly, SHE'S ROLLING. Sweet Jesus, it's about time.
- Per a previous post, she's eating table food. Everyday at school she gets the school lunch and snacks. So far she loves grilled cheese and pancakes and graham crackers.
- She babbles nonstop. The funniest part is when she gestures with her arms like she's telling you something super important. Who knows, maybe she is. We'll figure it out eventually if Timmy fell in a well or something.
- We've experienced a bit of stranger anxiety lately (not me or Jeff, Riley Kate). Not ideal, but selfishly, it's a little nice, because she'll want me to hold her. :)
- She's figured out how to sit down on her own, which is a good thing for the middle of the night when she stands in her crib. We're not required to go in there and help much anymore, unless she bonks her head on the side of the crib as she did last night.
- Her BFF is Oscar. They try to share toys (ick) and Oscar does not leave her room during feeding times in the morning or evening. And when she gets a bath, he patiently sits in the hallway observing.
- She's trying to learn to give kisses. She gave me an unsolicited kiss yesterday. Which really turned out to be her licking me, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
